When recently teaching a make-do pincushion class at 'Stitch' located in the historic Village of Jordan, a tranquil quilt and knit shop where women gather to create... I was intrigued how the shape of the pear evolved into each participant's interpretation.

The table was set with lots of goodies for inspiration...

and the shop provided magnificent fabric choices.

Amidst the chatter and giggles they cut, sewed, stuffed and added their own personal embellishments...

each leaving with a work of art, the accomplishment of an afternoon spent amongst friends...
