Lovely to see the different stages of the sunflower - I rather like the last picture as it is fading away - autumn is on its way I guess. Hope you are ok I have missed you.
Wonderful pictures and a very emotional tribute to a person you love. The next picture should be birds picking the seeds and give the sunflower wings and a new life! All my best and a big big hug Elisabeth
A very touching photo essay tribute. I am sorry for your loss. I love Sunflowers, recently I purchased a bunch of 10, enjoyed them on my countertop, watching their petals gently open wide ... Then my cat decided to nibble and trim each and every beautiful petal. I guess he too enjoyed them! xo, Vera
Hello dear Susan, so glad to see your lovely photographs of the sunflowers brief beauty. How lovely they are. Life and loss is SO hard to come to terms with. It can make us question ourselves. Why are some of our friends taken too soon, their loss is so prominent and we think of the why's... all the why's. I send you my thoughts dear Susan.
So sorry to read about the loss of your Rose dear Susan. I'm sure she was the tallest and loveliest sunflower in the row. Your use of your beautiful sunflower photos is a special tribute to your friend. I hope you are okay-you are in my thoughts, my dear. sending hugs...
