'Tis just a whirlwind of activity here at the cottage...
Amidst the jam making, auction going and indulging in all that makes the latter part of Spring so special there is always the contentment of a little handsewing or paper cutting to fill the evenings...
As the season of beginnings takes her final bow making way for the bounty and delight of Summer...
may your days be filled with heavenly blue skies, soft billowing clouds and all you find pleasure in...
Just gorgeous and just perfect contentment xxxx
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you're having a wonderful time there, jam making, auction going, hand sewing and paper cutting. There's lots of indoor things happening here, too much rain to venture out for long periods at the moment.
ReplyDeleteIt's rain rain rain alot here Susan, so no jam making but I could do the paper cutting and hand sewing certainly. Such a LOVELY post as always my friend, enjoy the spring days.

It's sometimes the simpliest things that bring us the greatest pleasures. I can't believe that June is half over.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a beautiful weekend Susan!

You've listed some of the activities that give me a tremendous amount of pleasure. Auctions are rare here, and only held at permanent auction houses - I miss country auctions.
ReplyDeleteYour contentment washes over this post in the most soothing way!
Oh to be able to go to an auction with you Susan. We don't have very many near where I live, but the two I've been to were so much fun!
ReplyDeleteYour Forget Me Not display is SOOOOO lovely!!!
Contentment~~~I love that word!
sending hugs...
Beautiful images to accompany these sweet pleasures of early summer. I love your description of contentment and, indeed, the anticipation of delectable jams, projects completed and the thrill of the perfect "find!"
