Sometimes life is like a carnival ride, spinning you all about but always ending up where you started...
Or a trip down a fast moving river tossing you hither and fro as you attempt to find a sheltered harbour...
What ever comes your way and no matter how difficult the trip eventually the river will calm...
And there will be smooth sailing once again.
Welcome to April...

Just love this post! And how true are the words! Lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter's photos are beautiful. Life does toss us about, no doubt, but it is good to think of the times when the sailing will be smooth. Happy April to you!
ReplyDeleteHow true. Smooth sailing to you my friend and Happy April it is.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. I do hope you've found some calm waters after the turbulence you've had just lately. Hope your daughter is on the mend.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos and your words are so true, Susan. I've been on several of life's wild rides, which only make me appreciate the calm all the more . :)
ReplyDeleteWishing you smooth sailing.

Terrific photographs of your daughters, I do hope she is progressing well, no doubt she will be convalescing for awhile, so she'll be able to enjoy the Spring. That's a clever photo of the merry-go-round. Yes... don't we all recognise your words about life. I used to say, "I feel like I was holding all the cards and suddenly up in the air they went and came down all in a higgledy-piggledy pattern."

My what wonderful photos! And your lovely message to accompany them - so true, so true.....
ReplyDeleteGorgeous images, and yes, that's life isn't it, in all its wild, messy glory :)
ReplyDeleteHello Susan,
ReplyDeleteHow succinctly and perfectly you express your thoughts. Life does indeed seem at times to blow one off course and make one follow a new direction. And yet, when one looks back, these times are seen as some of the most satisfying and rewarding in the long run.
April does often seem to be a cruel month. New shoots are often beaten down by wind and rain but, in the end, there is still hope and promise of the year that is unfolding with all the surprises that it may bring.
We have found our way here quite by chance but, happily, see in your commentators, some of our friends. We are followers!
Hello again. Just dropped by to wish you a happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteToo true! Lovely photos... Is the last one Lake Louise?
