Imagination

Winter has emerged spreading her beauty hither and fro...
The lane is enveloped in sparkles and the hills shrouded by a velvet cloak of white.
Magical, breathtaking...

But there is enchantment within the cottage too...

The white hyacinths are beginning to bloom filling the room with fragrance...

And the mice have taken it upon themselves to dress for the Winter's Ball...

Isn't imagination a wonderful thing.

Hope you're enjoying the magnificence of January...

* Costumed mice I've created for a window display in the local quilt shoppe Stitch.

  6. Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Your first photo is a picture of beauty, everything looks so magical when it's covered with a layer of snow. We haven't had any yet this year, though there's still plenty of time. I bet your house is filled with a gorgeous scent from the hyacinths, and your little mice are so cute.

  10. Hi, thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. I had to do a double take when I saw pictures of your two pussycats. Are they Siamese or Burmese or a mixture like my two, Burmese and Tonkinese? I love all your pictures especially the snow scene. You live in a beautiful place.
    Love from Mum
