Contentment

A gentle rain lingers outside, thankfully replacing the snowflakes...

The birdsong is rich, echoing from the thicket, filling the woods and captivating all who pause to listen... the promise of Spring has finally arrived.

I've been busy creating little pinkeeps and vignettes for an upcoming Quilt show at month's end...

Please come and join us at the Royal Botanical Gardens April 27th & 28th for Quilts in the Garden featuring the Halton Quilters Guild with antique quilts, vendors booths and of course wonderful handwork...

Stop by and visit Jocelyn at Stitch in the Atrium ... perhaps one of my birdie whimsies will flutter into your heart...

  1. How I would love to be able to go, but alas, it is not meant to be... sigh! Your pin keeps are precious and I am still in love with your vintage laces! Your cat seems so regal and appears to be questioning your disturbance to his/her royal slumber! Thanks again for stopping by to visit my blog and your lovely comment. Cheers~

  5. Be still my heart...your new lovelies are simply splendid! If only the Quilt Show was just down the lane...but alas, not so. Surely your handmades will find loving, forever homes ever so swiftly.
Wishing you much joy and sunshine Susan!
    Sending hugs your way...

  6. What lovely pinkeeps. I wish I could attend the show....

Isn't it wonderful to hear the birds? We're in the midst of a sleety, snowy week, but the birds were singing mightily on Sunday and I know they'll be singing again once the sun comes back out. :)

I love the view from the perch that kitty has and it looks like she does too.
I do hope we both get some sunshine soon, but as bad as my part of the US needs rain, I think I will never complain whatever the weather.
    sending hugs...
